While the combination may seem odd to some, it worked perfectly, and the pair’s wedding was brilliant. From the perfect details to the lovely venues, this rustic yet urban chic wedding was one for the books, and we’re so happy Lillie Fortino Photography shared it with us.
The bride glowed as she got ready for the big day. Her brunette locks were pulled back into a fantastic up-do from Capture Salon with perfect sparkling accents. The accessories in Ali’s hair worked perfectly with her Maggie Soterro gown from April Rose and Nina shoes. The gown’s beaded belt alongside the shoe’s sparkling embellishments added flair to the elegant look. Once ready, the bride’s parents had their first look at their stunning daughter, and the images are truly breathtaking. Though the bride stunned us with her brilliant smile, we can’t deny how handsome Rick looked either! His grey suit from J. Crew added a bit of a casual feel to the ceremony, but it was his perfect skull emblazoned socks that really amped up his ensemble.
Once ready, it was time for the bride and groom to head to the stunning Pine Orchard Chapel for their beautiful ceremony. The old church provided a rustic, countryside atmosphere to the ceremony. The flower girls and ring bearers added an adorable touch to the romantic affair. Once the wedding party was in place, Rick waited patiently at the end of the aisle for Ali, and as she entered with her Guilford White House Florist bouquet, his face was gleeful. The couple could barely contain their smiles throughout the ceremony, and as they left the church their joyful love could be felt by all of the guests.
Before the reception, the bride and groom took time to take some gorgeous images on the grounds of the church before moving to their reception location. The jazzy, urban ROIA Restaurant served as the perfect foil to the rustic Pine Orchard Chapel. The couple and their guests enjoyed the incredible venue and were served a delicious and gorgeous meal by the staff before it was time for the Ali and Rick to cut the cake created lovingly by Baked by Melissa. Accented by stunning paper designs by Wedding Paper Divas, the centerpieces and tablescape were the perfect accent to the already grand venue. By the end of dinner, it was time for all of the guests as well as Ali and Rick to dance the evening away.
We love the mix of urban and rustic element’s in Ali and Rick’s gorgeous wedding. From the countryside chapel to the jazzy reception restaurant, we’re so glad we got to see this stunning affair. Congratulations to the happy couple!
