[shareaholic app=”share_buttons” id=”4830626″]We’ve always been in love with Mystic Seaport and its gorgeous coastal views, docked sailboats, and lighthouse, but Cat and Chad’s wedding has taken this Connecticut venue to a whole new level of stunning. How did this duo accomplish such a feat? Well, let’s just say that they did the trick with a green and blue color palette, a “tie the knot” nautical theme, and lots of personality! Seriously, folks, we were hooked as soon as we laid eyes on the beautiful strapless wedding dress that Cat snagged from Vow Bridal Outlet and her Toms bridal wedges. From there, we settled in and just let all the special moments that Candace Jeffery Photography captured unfold — from the sweet first look on the docks to the stylish reception that followed their oceanside ceremony.
Actually, “stylish” doesn’t even begin to describe the fun outdoor reception that Cat and Chad put together for their friends and family. Stepping under the nearby pavilion, the night started off with guests finding their seats thanks to an adorable bright green and white escort card station. But, that wasn’t all, the whole event came together with an intimate sweetheart table for two — which featured a handmade driftwood sign —elegant florals from Hana Floral Design, DIY sea glass mason jars, knot table numbers, dog bone shaped cookie favors, and more. And, of course, dinner and dancing topped off the whole evening!
Needless to say, this fabulous wedding didn’t lack for good times or beauty! Now it’s your turn to dive right in and soak up all the details – we just know you’ll adore everything as much as we do.
