If you’re a movie lover, you’ll fit right in with the beautiful couple. The pair share a love of all things cinema, and their passion was perfectly integrated into their wedding. So, without further ado, let’s get the film rolling and talk about their big day!
Holly began by getting ready surrounded by friends and family in her bridal suite. Her hair was stunningly swept back by Avanti Hair Designs with braided detailing along the side and a flower perfectly placed by her ear. The bride’s dress from David’s Bridal was simple elegance with flowing fabric and sequin detailing around the bodice. Her beautiful bridesmaids wore floor length, deep teal dresses that looked lovely by the bride’s elegant white gown. The beautiful pink bouquets by Nyren’s of New England added a simple, elegant touch to both the bridesmaids’ dresses and the bride’s gown. Following her relaxing time in the bridal suite, Holly stepped outside where she and Chris had a beautiful “First Look” moment. The groom stands waiting in a classic black suite, and when Holly approaches, the joyous groom’s smile lights up the cloudy day. The couple stopped to take some lovely portraits that featured a beautiful homage to the marriages of each of their parents.
Though the weather may have been dreary on the big day, there was no doubt that the gorgeous couple lit up the pavilion under which they were married. Holly’s walk down the aisle was joyous, and it appears as though the ceremony was equally as happy. The pair can be seen laughing with family and friends who were incorporated into the special moment as well as sharing smiles with one another while Toni Soboleski officiated. Chris and Holly took a moment in their ceremony to break from the light, fun air and honor their parents with a gorgeous exchange of roses. The combination of entertaining tone and sweet sincerity gave the gorgeous couple’s ceremony an incredibly personal touch.
While their ceremony definitely had flair, perhaps the most unique portion of Chris and Holly’s wedding was the reception. The cake, designed by Kim’s Cottage Confections, featured what appeared to be rolls of film around each tier and at the top were Chris and Holly’s first initials. Maintaining the cinematic theme, the couple added cards to each table that featured their favorite films, and the wedding favors were their favorite movie snacks. Keeping with the upbeat tone of the wedding, the bride, groom, and guests shared plenty of time dancing on the floor thanks to Mike Connelly Sound. With so much love portrayed in the photographs, this wedding is deserving of its very romance film. Congratulations, Chris and Holly!
