Connecticut Backyard BBQ Wedding

[shareaholic app=”share_buttons” id=”4830626″]This backyard BBQ wedding extravaganza has itching to kick off our shoes, sit back, and stay awhile! Sprawled across acres of family farmland, the bride and groom didn’t just host a regular ole wedding day — they put on a grand event filled with fun, fabulous details, and finger-licking food. Jessica and Rob’s day was captured by Dave Noonan & Dorian Patrick of C10 Studios, a studio founded by the amazing Carla Ten Eyck Photography. And, we have to say we adore how the portraits really communicate the laid-back, happy-go-lucky feel of the day!

The lovebirds’ big day began with an intimate vow exchange on the lawn with close friends and family members gathered around (we can’t get over how stunning Jessica looked in her Pnina Tornai and up-do by Bella Vita Salon!). Then, after the I dos were said, the couple turned up the “fun” dial several notches and kicked off the celebration festivities! For their reception, Jessica and Rob rented an elegant tent and decked it out with fabulous stylings by A Polished Plan and family-made DIYs. Rustic wood pieces from New England Country Rentals and florals by Blush Floral Design really helped them create a look that had a perfect “down on the farm” feel.

In addition to the gorgeously styled setting, the couple’s guests were treated to all sorts of yummy food — we’re dying for a bite of that smoked BBQ from Preppy Pig BBQ! — and a country hoedown accompanied by country hits performed by The Help Wanted Band. And, just when we thought this day couldn’t pack in any more fun, the bride and groom topped off the whole day with a magical floating lantern send-off. Such a romantic and beautiful final stamp on this special day!
