Anyone who comes to Newport in the summer knows how picture perfect it is for a wedding. And the pictures of Daisy, Ryan, and their wedding party truly are stunning thanks to Stephen Whiting of Whiting Photography. Starting their day off with a photoshoot at Perrotti Park in downtown Newport was essential to capture the shimmering water of this coastal gem.
If that wasn’t enough, the party then moved to the lovely Ochre Court Mansion on Salve Regina’s campus. From the great hall to the courtyard to the balconies and patios, the beaming couple was photographed all over the grounds of the second largest mansion in all of Newport. One particular shot that caught our eye here at Wedding Reports was the one of the entire family in the same style as the royal family across the pond. Or the one with the couple and their entourage of bridesmaids and groomsmen all perfectly placed and looking off subtly in different directions. With the help of Camillas Bridal dress store, all eyes were on the lovely bride and her layers and layers of white lace. Both Ryan, the groom, and Daisy’s bridesmaids wore a royal blue which complemented the regal estate and the seaside ceremony that would later take place. The beautiful color scheme made this one of the most elegant weddings we’ve seen in a long time.
The pictures were taken and it was time for everyone to take their seats and finally see these two tie the knot. The ceremony was held outside on the boardwalk and though the ceremony was short, Daisy and Ryan will remember it forever. Thanks to the boutique wedding florists Castle & Cottage RI, the bouquets and alter looked amazing. As the ceremony came to an end there was an opportunity to take gorgeous seaside pictures and a ride on the boardwalk’s carousel!
The night was jam packed with fun. Hosted by Easton’s Beach Rotunda, the reception was a huge hit and it’s obvious through the smiles on the guests’ faces. The night wouldn’t be complete without plenty of time for dancing but there was an added bonus to the evening’s festivities: foam guns! The newly wed, Daisy, sprays the crowd and gets everyone on their feet then gets a little bit carried away as seen from the pictures. The fun didn’t stop there, the bride and groom enjoyed a break from dancing at the ice cream truck!
It’s safe to say this wedding was a joyous occasion and we wish all the best to Daisy & Ryan!
