This snowy wedding captured by Jewel Photo definitely did just that and now has us wishing for s’mores by the fire, hot chocolate, and the holiday season! It’s true — we’re total suckers for romantic New England weddings set against a white wonderland backdrop. You’ll see why when you lay eyes on Ian and Julian’s gorgeous big day. Full of the aforementioned romance and the snow that we love so much, Ian and Juliana’s wedding day also captured our hearts for another reason — unique, personalized details. To name a few: bride, Juliana, wore her mother’s very own vintage, lace wedding gown and the escort cards were crafted out of miniature hand-painted canvases! Needless to say, both of those elements really perked up our interest and made us want to dive even deeper into this winter wedding day. So keep reading as we explain how the day unfolded for these two lovebirds…
The day started with the bride and groom dressing separately and having fun with their respective bridesmaids and groomsmen. Once the hour of the vow exchange finally approached, everyone gathered at a beautiful local church for a ceremony that reflected the couple’s faith. We just adore this portion of their photos because you can easily see that the emotions were running deep as they said their I dos with close friends and family gathered around by their sides. Plus, the intricate and ornate beauty the church’s sanctuary gave the whole setting a magical quality! Up next, the happy couple headed out to the snowy landscape just outside for some intimate and ethereal wedding portraits that showed off their personalities and mad love for each other. Truly, can you receive a gift more amazing that fluffy, white snow on your wedding day? We think not! The bride and groom seemed to think so too because they took full advantage of the serene setting around them in every way possible during their photo shoot and the final results (as you’ll see below) are breathtaking.
Finally, Ian and Juliana topped off their New England wedding day with a fun-filled reception at the Pavilion at Crystal Lake, which fit in just perfectly with the couple’s rustic-meets-vintage style thanks to wooden walls and floors, a high-beamed ceiling, and barn-style architecture. Overhead, the ceiling was draped with white Christmas lights and and down below the room glowed with the light of soft lanterns and candlelight. We don’t know about you, but we’d say they created the perfect environment for the night of dinner and dancing that followed!
Alright, enough from us…see this stunning wedding day for yourself!
