Known for our elegant country weddings, Candlelight Farms in New Milford Connecticut will make your dream wedding a reality. These extraordinary weddings are for the couples who are looking for a one of a kind wedding…a wedding like no other. Therefore, the day is yours, not shared with another wedding or event.

We will provide telephone and email consultation throughout the planning process. W we will accommodate on site meetings with your family, caterers, florists, rental companies and event planners. Candlelight Farms will be happy to share our list of preferred caterers, bakeries, tent and rental companies, photographers, florists and music providers. Tastings may be offered in the Inn.

The Clubhouse is a rustic room with a fireplace. Often this is used as a post-wedding party place.

A 2011 addition to the Candlelight Farms, will be the renovated Lower Barn, which looks out on our 26 acre pond.

Your tented one day event can be held on any of the many sites on this farm. We can accommodate 500 for a tented event.

Another favorite wedding venue of ours is the scenic Candlelight Farms Inn.  This is a first-class outdoor wedding experience, from the gardens, to the views, to the accommodations, everything is absolutely stunning.  Weddings from 40-350 can be accommodated at the Farm either in the Lower Barn, Clubhouse or tented on the lawn. Nancy, the Innkeeper is the sweetest and makes the most amazing breakfasts.  We promise you will fall in love with this property as soon as you visit. Always and Forever

This is a true bed and breakfast farm experience. If you are looking for a unique venue that not many people know about this is for you. I would suggest working with a planner here as it is truly a build your event experience. I enjoy the barn but LOVE having a tent on the property. The views of the hills and mountains are fabulous and the CT Charm is evident. If you need your cell phone don’t come to this venue as cell towers haven’t even found their way yet. My husband and I had our wedding at Candelight Farms in July of this year (2015). While on our honeymoon, we constantly reflected on our wedding weekend as the best weekend of our lives! Candlelight Farms is, in our opinion, the most beautiful wedding venue on earth! The grounds are absolutely breathtaking- so beautiful, in fact, that decorations are hardly needed. The gardens, lake, and beautiful barns make for the perfect rustic, farm-feel wedding. I love to craft and DIY- another reason the farm was perfect! I had plenty of space to add little personal touches to make the venue feel like “us.” On the day of our wedding, our guests commented that the venue was the most stunning they had ever seen. Aside from the beauty of the farm, Nancy, the owner is WONDERFUL. Within 10 minutes of meeting her, I knew that I wanted to work with her. Her warm personality, timely communication, advice, experience, and love for what she does are just a few of the things that I came to love about her! Prior to our wedding, Nancy and I would e-mail on a consistent basis- I always felt like my questions were answered promptly and in detail. As the wedding drew closer, we decided to have our rehearsal dinner in one of the barn at the farm (why would we have it anywhere else?!). Nancy helped to organize and decorate for the dinner! She also helped to run the rehearsal which was so comforting. On the day of the wedding, Nancy helped wherever she was needed! She has a way of knowing what needs to be done without even having to ask. In closing, my husband and I have the warmest memories of Candlelight Farms and we look forward to having anniversary parties and other events there in the years to come!!!

I could not have dreamed up a better wedding experience! I knew I wanted an outdoor rustic fall Connecticut wedding from the beginning. Candlelight Farms Inn in New Milford, CT was the perfect backdrop to just that. The ceremony took place overlooking rolling hills of beautifully changing autumn leaves nestled between a few birch trees. The reception took place in the newly renovated barn space that we filled with twinkle lights, potted plants, and other rustic touches. Nancy, the Inn Manager, was so easy to work with. She became family by the end of the wedding planning process. I could tell that each wedding becomes very personal to her and that she truly wants to help make each brides dream come true. Nancy gave us a list of preferred vendors that were also amazing and easy to work with. I would recommend and have recommended Candlelight Farms Inn to anyone who wants to create a unique and special wedding event. There is nothing cookie cutter about a Candlelight Farms Inn wedding!
