Our wedding at the Golden Lamb was simply spectacular. It is a beautiful Connecticut wedding venue, made even more perfect by incredible staff, delicious food, willingness to work with all requests (thank you Katie!!!), and unique touches such as the barn decor and hayrides that provided a feast for all the senses. Guests can not stop raving and neither can we! The planning process was so easy because Katie was "it" throughout. She answered every question and every email, and met with us numerous times to work and re-work the details. We were able to create a truly unique wedding that had every element we could have wanted - and more when we let Katie and the staff add their own touches. We never once faced an negative response. Nor dis we feel nickel and dimed the way so many friends and acquaintances have reported feeling when they want anything but what is offered to them as a traditional package. I am so glad we found the Buttery and were able to have our wedding there. I hope we can return often throughout our lives together to re-live those special moments! I only hope it does not change as more couples discover it and it is no longer a hidden gem of a wedding venue.

We absolutely loved the Golden Lamb and so did all of our guests! Katie is amazing and made everything so easy for us. We had hay bales during the ceremony and hayrides with a guitar playing before the cocktail hour, everyone LOVED how unique the venue was and that there was always something to do.
