I initially worked with Marie Carmen at Harper's for my 2009 wedding and had a wonderful experience. She was so dedicated and detail oriented for this former New Yorker, that she made my entire experience of selecting and ultimately creating custom invitations and all my paper goods a truly enjoyable experience! Now, we are working together again on my sister's wedding and I know that everything will again turn out beautiful. Marie Carmen was able to work within my sister's limited budget offering numerous options for invitations. I highly recommend working with Harper's for any special occasion!

I found this place by driving through Wethersfield back in 2007. My daughter had just got engaged and I decided to just go in with the thought of really ordering them online but wanted to see if they had what I was looking for. Well, forget online. The owner was the sweetest person ever. She helped me tremendously and when my daughter came in to look at them also, they were gorgeous. She showed us everything how it would appear on paper and did some adjustments which were fantastic. I also decided that because I liked her so much, I would get the shower invitations there also. They were beautiful. Four years later, I just called her again and am going in for baby shower invitations!!!! I cannot express how wonderful this place is, pricing is average and she is very meticulous. Love the store! Give her a try!

Marie at Harper's Invitations was a true professional in giving us advice on all aspects of choosing the invitations, thank you notes and napkins for our wedding. She has an excellent selection of products at a variety of prices and is so helpful in suggesting what might be the right choice for your taste and price range. Harper's Inviations took care of item for both my shower and wedding (invites, thank yous, church programs, menus, place cards, etc.). Marie's attention to both etiquette and detail is extraordinary. Her selection of items is extensive and she was able to do everything I asked about. The items always arrived on time and exactly as I ordered. Since my wedding in June 2005, I have returned to Harper's for personal stationery, baby shower invites (my mom took over on this one) and thank yous. I will also order baby announcements from Harper's. Visit this quaint shop in the heart of Old Wethersfield and you will love it!

I found Marie at Harpers from a bridal fair at Saint Clements Castle and have been so grateful for all the time and effort she put into helping me plan all the wonderful details of our wedding, which was October 21, 2006. Marie has a wonderful eye for elegant details and is quite the perfectionist, an attribute I was looking for to plan the perfect day. She spent numerous occastions with me, looking for the perfect cocktail napkins to designing the most elegant menue for our event. Marie is so welcoming and provides such personalized attention, which I appreciated. She makes you feel like a close friend and even family. While Harper's is a small boutique, it offers so many beautiful inviations and wonderful favors, with exceptional customer service. Harper's is a small boutique with so many beautiful inviations and wonderful favors. The store owner Marie prides herself with offering exceptional customer service while providing so many unique ideas. Picking out my Invitations was so much fun. My husband & I ended up purchasing our Save the Dates, Bridal Shower invites, Rehersal Diner, Wedding Invitations, Brunch invites for the day after, unique guest book and adorable hotel bags to greet our out of town guests.
