We used Music in Motion for our June 2018 wedding and we're so happy we did! We chose them based on a recommendation from a friend and she was spot on! We had live music during the ceremony which was lovely! And we had the DJ for the reception and he did a great job being respectful of playing great music during dinner and then getting everyone on the dance floor for hours! It was amazing! My Husband and I used Music in Motion Entertainment as our Wedding DJ. We were extremely happy with the service we received. From the beginning planning stages to the actual wedding Mike was very professional and accommodating. The Online Planning tool that we used was fantastic. We were even able to add specific music that is not typically available for weddings. Music in Motion Entertainment also did the music and sound for our Ceremony. Mike collaborated with our JP and Maitre d to assure that the music was exactly what we wanted and the timing was perfect for the entrance of our BridalParty. Our reception went off without a hitch. Mike was awesome with the microphone, keeping our reception fun, upbeat and keeping it moving. There was never a dull moment or a time during our entire reception where there was less than 10 people on the dance floor (some who had never danced at a wedding before). Our guests all told us that we had one of the most fun weddings they have been to. We also got the architectural lighting, dance floor lighting and Photo booth. The lighting took our wedding to a whole new level. The lights changed with the music, setting the tone for each song and keeping everyone energized. I hired Music In Motion to do lighting at our wedding. The DJ we had booked did not offer lighting so after meeting Mike at a bridal show, felt that adding uplighting would bring a nice touch. We just could not say enough about how beautiful the lighting was, and the fact that Music In Motion had a technician who stayed to operate things for the entire event. I can't imagine if we did not add the lighting. It was fabulous!

We booked Music In Motion's Ultimate package, which basically bundles together everything they offer. They provided us DJs, Photo Booth, Lighting, a live Jazz Trio and Videography. We had Music In Motion recently for our wedding and they did an outstanding job! They are definitely the company to go to if you want a cool, fun and memorable wedding!!!! Our wedding ceremony was on the beach, very hard to access, and with even waves in the background. Our DJ Mike made his setup effortless and recommended where the sound should be at its best. The result couldn’t have been more perfect!!! His knowledge was incredible!! Mike had everyone hearing every precious, memorable word. I had even asked the guests after the ceremony if they could hear everything ok, and they replied, “ Yep, all loud and clear....with a smile on their face!.” From there, he had to setup in the reception hall--which was a long haul from the beach--and set everything up for the *immediately* following cocktail hour and reception. Mike nailed it all flawlessly. The reception was a huge hit with Mike really taking the music exactly where I hoped it would go and also blending in requests from others. It's one thing to have a DJ who can follow a playlist and go when and where you tell him, it's another to have someone who can roll with the punches, fix problems, improvise, and use his head when things don't go exactly to plan. I am 110% grateful I went with Mike because he took so much of the headache out of the process and kept it ROCKIN ALL NIGHT!!

As the bride, I couldn't be anymore happier with the outcome we had, and the fact that I could NOT peel myself away from the dance floor. They are very reliable, accommodating, and resourceful. I remember we got there early for our appointment and Mike was very well organized and ready to meet us right away. Although at first worried about our Wedding being a day wedding vs a night time dance party, the party kept moving and dancing barely stopped. I have been to my fair share of weddings where the DJ was absolutely atrocious and you think to yourself "I hope they didn't overpay for this shmuck". Trust me, you will not feel this way if you go with Music In Motion, especially Dave Salonia. Their online planning tool is extremely easy and convenient, it's also very expansive. Just for the hell of it I typed in obscure songs and the system spit the song out every time. Dave was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had and made the whole process painless. Everyone has heard the horror stories of how the DJ made the reception all about himself with ridiculous antics (I could tell you a story of a DJ that talked through the bride and groom's first dance but I'll spare you), Dave was not that way at all. His level of involvement and interaction was perfect. I can honestly say that there wasn't a moment in the night that the dancefloor wasn't packed (Ok maybe at dinner time but that's expected). I wish there were ten stars to give Music in Motion. From the initial interview with Mike until our wedding day everything was professional and perfect. Mike was honest and helpful will all of our planning. Mike and Steve were wonderful and our dancefloor was full all night long. Even my three year old nephew brok...e the heels off of his shoes dancing way past his bed time! We debated the architectural lighting and once we saw it in person and in pictures, we can't beleive we even questioned it. My wedding was over an month ago and people are STILL talking about how much fun they had. Even the older folks that don't dance too much said that it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding. We were an older couple getting married with guests ranging in age from 3 to 88. This was a difficult task, at best. We knew the dj was an intrical part of our wedding and had done our research. Troy and I just had the most fantastic wedding! We loved every minute of it and it wouldn't have been the same without Music in Motion there for getting the party started! Mike was our DJ and he was so professional, fun and knew exactly what to do to get everyone involved as well as keep our requests at the top of his list! We never had a dull moment at our wedding! Mike and Steve Fernino were the dj's at my son's recent wedding in New Haven.. When it comes to music ,my son and his bride have very specific likes and dislikes . Mike and Steve followed their instructions to the letter and the night was terrific! The Ferninos also played the music for the ceremony (again specific requests) and gave our rabbi a lapel microphone. The sound level during the reception was perfect..loud enough to be entertaining, but not deafening. The whole night was very professionally done.I highly recommend Music in Motion!

Our DJ Tony Wise was very nice. I gave him my list of must play songs beforehand and I think only 2 were played. My families entrance song did not play. There was a mixup with the entrance song for my bridal party and since my husband and I had two songs to dance to, the first ended to short and the second one would not stop even though we told him where to stop it. I wanted a little more interaction from the DJ during the night but the meals ran long. Overall I felt I overpaid for the level of service I received. I wish more of my songs that I requested were played and Tony did not download my updated list from online as he had my old one which had another slow song after our first dance. The bridal party actually danced to 2 songs and it only should have been one. That was another mistake.

Jason Cledes was our DJ, and we could not have asked for a more perfect reception!! From the moment we met him, we felt assured that our day would be all that we wanted. His confidence and knowledge put us at ease, and we were able to enjoy our day! He really ran the reception- and it was so wonderful!! What a party it was! People danced all day, and did not want it to end!!! THANKS JASON!! We would love to do it all again, just to dance the night away!

Can we talk about how AWESOME DJ Dave Salonia was!? He created the best party for us, exactly what we wanted. He let me pick the music, then mixed it up added some more fun stuff and was just AMAZING!!!! The night ran so smoothly and everybody was on the dance floor ALL night long!! I cannot thank him enough for such a GREAT time had by all...not to mention all the compliments for the DJ!!! He was extremely professional, and very talented. Since I lived out of state when booking vendors for our wedding, my husband and I didn't have time to meet with a dozen different DJs, so we decided to only meet with a few who came very highly recommended. Mike and his staff at Music in Motion Entertainment stood out among the others for serveral reasons: 1- they were the most professional, 2- they offered a variety of reasonably priced packages, 3- they have an online database that makes it easy and convenient to pick out music, and 4 - everyone said this company is definitely a crowd pleaser. We put our faith in Mike and his staff, and they exceeded our expectations! We had over 200 people at our wedding and Music in Motion found a way to make them all happy by playing a variety of music, particularly Italian music - which many of our guests enjoyed. Music in Motion made our day absolutely phenomenal!!. Jason was a fantastic DJ as well as MC. He kept the party hopping while still working our requests into the evening. As my husband and I planned our wedding we knew ONE thing, that the DJK can make or break your event! We'd been to weddings where the DJ seemed to almost intentionally play a "klunker" song right as people were finally getting on the dance floor. We felt that if we were going to spend all this money on our wedding, that we at least wanted to make CERTAIN our guests enjoyed themselves!! Mike had done my sister's wedding and I'd never seen so many people dance and have a great time, so he was our obvious choice! Our wedding, on 5/1/09, was the BEST because of Mike and Music in Motion! Mike took care of EVERYTHING! He made sure he had the right version of our wedding song, he handled ALL of our ceremony music, he even reminded me to BREATHE right before the ceremony! Then he did an AMAZING job, getting the crowd excited and up and dancing! Played excellent music all night, just the right timing! It was beyond perfect! Here's how good...I'd invited my Boss to the wedding, he's a nice guy, but VERY old fashioned and difficult to please...when I got back from my honeymoon, he called me to say that he was MOST impressed with our DJ! "That guy did a great job, good timing, nice personality, I've never been to a wedding where I liked the DJ before!" And let me tell ya, my boss isn't one to compliment!!!! I had discovered Music In Motion when I went to a friend's wedding the summer before my own, about halfway through the reception I made the decision that I wanted these guys to do my wedding. When my husband and I first met with MIM to discuss wedding plans they told us, "anyone with an ipod can be a DJ, but it takes talent to be an entertainer." And they were 100% right on. This is one bride that can honestly say that thanks to Dave Salonia with Music In Motion my husband and I were able to sit back and enjoy every moment of our wedding! Dave Salonia did an outstanding job at making sure all the finest details were taken care of perfectly. From the accurate pronunciation of all the names of my polish in-laws to being prepared with all the latest music (even if it had just been released days before) to play upon request of my guests. When I went back to work on Monday my boss came up to me and told me that my wedding was one of the best weddings she had ever been to. We were on the dance floor all night! The music was sensational!! Mike was a fantastic DJ!! Music in Motion was a wonderful addition to our perfectly fantastic day!!! Mike and his brother were amazing at my wedding. we had an eclectic mix of music including some arabic tracks and they made an amazing playlist. Every one every age danced the whole night.. i couldnt believe it.. me and my wife couldnt be happier with the way they took charge and were on time. Mike and Steve truly outdid themselves at our wedding. We not only gave them our music selections late, we gave them somewhat eclectic music to play. We also ended up giving them a CD of music for our intros right before they started. They kept the dance floor crowded all night. Our wedding was September 7th, 2008. The DJs were amazing!!!! They were full of energy and kept everyone up and having a great time. Music in Motion is definitely worth your money. Mike, our DJ, was extremely nice, helpful and professional throughout the entire process. Their online music selection system makes picking and choosing your favorite (and least favorite) songs simple and convenient. The ceremony itself was a blast too thanks to not only the music played, but also the lively games and props Mike included to keep the party rolling. Erin and I couldn't be more pleased with our wedding day, and Music in Motion certainly played an important role in it.

I would recommend Mike and Steve of Music in Motion to anybody planning a wedding. So many people told us our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. A lot of the credit has to go to our DJ and I make sure I tell everyone that. The whole night flowed perfectly, nothing was rushed, and they got everyone up and dancing. I have never seen a dance floor like that at any wedding I have ever been to. They are so professional as well. They truly do care about their clients. I have a story to prove it. The night before our weddng my wife and her bridal party decided that they wanted everyone in the bridal party to be introduced to a different song. I personally felt it was too late to decide to do something like that but the girls really wanted to do it. However, we realized that it might be too late. They sent Mike and Steve an email at around midnight the night before with this request. All they had to say was that it impossible to do. Instead they spent three hours searchingfor the music and putting this entrance together on the day of the wedding. That was so impressive to us. The entrance ended up being a big hit as was the wedding as a whole. I couldn't imagine anyone doing a better job.

I can not express enough of how wonderful Mike and Steve made our wedding! They made sure that everything went smooth and without a hitch. We had nothing to worry about all day! I would recommend them for any wedding!

I used Music in Motion at my wedding in April. I had gone to a wedding the previous April and they had used Music in Motion. My fiancee and I really liked the DJs. They were very friendly and played great music. We decided to use Music in Motion after meeting with Mike a few months later. After our intial meeting, we knew they were the DJ for us. They were very professional, well organized, well priced and very accomodating. Our DJs were Dave LaFontaine and Bob Wright. We met with Dave twice before our wedding to dicuss what we wanted from the DJ (No craziness, no party hats, etc), the type of music we wanted, etc. Dave had many years of experience. He did a fabulous job at our wedding. Any request that we had he honored. He played great music and we had a packed dnce floor all night. Dave and Bob really kept the reception moving at a nice pace. I was so happy with Music in Motion. I would definitely use them again. I think you get top notch service for a good price.

My wedding was oringally booked at bella notte, and without any notice they went out of business. Music in Motion (mike) helped me look for another hall and was very supportive through the whole thing. They were always available for questions and answers. I had no worries the day of my wedding. i know mike and steve would handle any problems, and they were so organized!!!! There energy level was unbelievable and everyone had an amazing time. Music in Motion was amazing!!! The energy of the whole party was great! With ages of 11 to 85 eveyone was dancing! Even my dad danced other than the father daughter dance which is a wow moment!!! Just wanted to take a minute to say how much of a professional Mike of Music in Motion is to work with. My brother & future sister in law had to make some changes to their wedding reception and as a result had to make some adjustments to the music schedule. Mike was so accommodating and easy to deal with. He made a potentially disappointing result go away! He moved things around and made some adjustments to his own schedule so that he could be at their wedding. I cant wait for that day to come! Music in Motion did an extraordinary job at my wedding!!! 99% of my guest were out on the dance floor after my first dance. I and my guest were dancing all night. The MC played a game with me and my groom, which made for wonderful entertainment and tons of laughs!! We are still getting comments about how great our DJ was at our wedding from our guest and it is already a month later. I can't say enough good things, but the guest were having a wonderful time and they loved all the music. My daughter was married on June 2nd and we were pleased beyond words at the DJ service of Music in Motion. Mike was great to work with right from the start when we booked his services over a year prior to the wedding. I loved Music in Motion!!! Mike and Steve did my wedding on May 19, 2007 and it was incredible. Honestly, I have been to many weddings and none of those other DJ's compared. The DJ really makes the wedding, they set the mood and the tone for everyone and they are the ones that get people into it. I just received my wedding video back yesterday and you can see how involved Mike and Steve were and everyone was dancing all night. We hired Music in Motion for our wedding and we were so happy we did. They came to us highly recommended from a friend. Tony was great. We had a few minor miscommunications during the planning process and these guys handled it extremely professionally - I can't say that for all my vendors! Tony stuck to what we wanted and gauged exactly how much or little to add. He really was able to 'read' the mood and proceed accordingly. Josh Lidsky is great! He kept the dance floor rocking ALL night. It was a huge relief. He really worked hard for me. He even took my purse, fixed my bustle (it broke during my boogie fever)and helped take my hair down at the end of the night. The guy is great.
