Went here for Easter dinner. Absolutely amazing food - great variety. Well worth it. Just need a little more time to enjoy it all without rushing to eat.

The Woodwinds was a great venue to have our wedding. They have a variety of outdoor ceremony spots to choose from. The grounds and building are beautiful. The food was out of this world good and there is no way you will find a better service around. We had a two personal assistants for our day who kept us on time, fed, and even provided aspirin for a headache. They are extremely professional. But the best feature is their price. I visited at least 25 locations all around Connecticut and we bought a package for $88/person at the Woodwinds. That package far surpassed packages that I saw at any location that had even remotely similar aesthetics. They threw in free centerpieces, free alcohol, extra Hors d'oeuvre's, and let me and my dad drive up in Scott's (the maitre d') vintage car.

My husband and I got married at The Woodwinds. Our experience from the beginning was incredible. Joanna, who booked us, was friendly and accommodating; most other places we looked at told us "how they do weddings," but Woodwinds asked us what WE wanted our wedding to be. Throughout the planning process, WW was quick to respond to emails and answered all of our questions thoroughly. On the day of the wedding, the grounds were beautifully manicured, the food was AMAZING, and the timing was all perfect. Scott and Antonella are BEYOND INCREDIBLE. Everything ran like clockwork because of them. They were the only reason that I got to relax and just have fun on the day of (also the only reason I ate!).

Our family, the grooms family and all our friends can not thank the staff at Woodwinds enough, for the way that you made Brenden & Allisons wedding day so wonderful. Scott was exceptional, doing things that only a true proffesional could do. His assistant Antabella (Hope I spelled It right) was also above was we could have hoped for. The grounds were perfect, the room was perfect, and the food was out of this world. So many people came up and said this was the best wedding they had ever been to. I am responsible for booking a company holiday party every year. We booked here for 7 or so years in a row! Never have I worked with a more reliable professional location! Scott is helpful, friendly and smooths over any problems with a smile! Food is ample and elegant. Staff seems happy to make sure guests are all taken care of! Best place in CT!!

Scott and the Woodwinds staff exceeded my expectations for my wedding day, they were absolutely amazing. Scott was right there with anything and everything we needed, the food was delicious and the service was absolutely spectacular. My husband and I had our reception at Woodwinds on May 24th and we were extremely pleased with the quality of the service and food we received. From the first moment we met Josh we knew it was the place for us. Scott the maitre de, was absolutely incredible and took care of us every second of the night. He was one step ahead of us and our night ran so smoothly. Our guests are still raving about the fantastic food and we are still receiving compliments on how beautiful this place is. Although it was a little drive for us and our guests, it was all worth it and we wouldn't have changed a thing! My Fiance and I are still on the search for reception places but I have to say that Josh at Woodwinds is WONDERFUL! They are certainly at the top of our list. Not only is the place BEAUTIFUL Josh French is just amazing. He did not rush us, he was more like a friend than someone trying to sell us the place. He even called to follow up and say how nice it was to meet us. Believe me, if we don't choose Woodwinds it certainly isn't because of the service or the place! VERY impressed so far!!

The NEW Woodwinds is amazing. I experienced the exceptional cuisine of Chef Silvio Suppa (from Cafe Allegre in Madison) at The Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Event. I was impressed with the level of quality and service. The newly rennovated interior is elegant. It is a great comfort knowing that the Suppa family is behind the scenes. They are a hard working, simply beautiful family that cares a great deal about their customers. They have made Cafe Allegre in Madison a destination and they are sure to put Woodwinds on the map as the top Wedding, Corporate Event, Bar & Bat Mitzvah & Holiday Celebration Facility!
