For the setting of their Disney-inspired day, the couple chose the picturesque Inn at Villa Bianca, a Connecticut venue that looks like it sprung right form the pages of a storybook. The decor and vibrant fall colors they chose for their color palette were equally as breathtaking and romance-inspired. And, of course, there were Disney details everywhere! Because of their last name the couple used the Disney “D” as the monogram for their day and incorporated it into their cake topper, the lighting, and tags of their favors. Additionally, the lovebirds brought in elements from their favorite classic stories. Giving nod to Cinderella, the couple used wire pumpkin carriages and glitter-covered pumpkins for centerpieces and decor at their reception. Roses, a classic flower used in many Disney stories, were incorporated into bouquets and floral arrangements while petals were scattered about the ballroom. And finally, candy apple favors — in honor of Snow White — were passed out to guests as tokens of the couple’s thanks. In true fairytale fashion, there decor had plenty of sparkle, too. With magical details like these, it’s clear that Marissa and Richie day wasn’t just a regular wedding celebration — it was a day worthy of a true prince and princess!
